The January transfer window is bubbling along nicely with a handful of deals already sewn up.

Hearts have been busy already with Elton Kabangu joining after his work permit was finally obtained.

The Jambos want another winger while speculation mounts regarding the futures of Barrie McKay and Yutaro Oda.

Danny Armstrong of Kilmarnock has been mentioned while Kabangu is also versatile though not guaranteed a starting spot this weekend vs Aberdeen due to the in-form players.

With Hearts looking towards another wide player, it also throws up in the air the future of Musa Drammeh and Not the Old Firm can reveal the player has suitors down south.

Musa Drammeh has clubs in the Championship monitoring him

NTOF understands that Championship clubs are monitoring the 23-year-old during the January window with a view to potentially taking him to the second tier before February.

Cardiff City are one club who have been linked with the player though NTOF understands that is not an active engagement at this time.

Spaniard Drammeh joined the Tynecastle club in the summer on a three-year deal but took some time to establish himself within the first-team under former head coach Steven Naismith.

He was even left out of the club’s Conference League numbers in a move which Naismith described as a call due to his “place in the squad”.

How has Drammeh performed at Hearts this season?

Since then this term Drammeh has made 11 appearances in all competitions and netted twice including a stunner against Celtic back in November.

He also bagged the winner for the Gorgie club against Motherwell just last week and that alerted clubs to his services.

He is still contracted at the club until 2027 which leaves manager Neil Critchley and his team in a strong bargaining position should there be any real, concrete interest this month.
