The Scottish Cup is getting down to the nitty gritty now with the semi-finals on the horizon.
St Johnstone emerged victorious over Livingston from the fourth and final last eight tie this evening, Graham Carey’s 73rd minute wonder strike proved to be the only goal of the game and separated the sides.
It all kicked off on Friday night with Hearts beating Dundee by three goals to one, Sander Kartum’s special double proving to be match-winning.
Aberdeen eased past Queen’s Park on Saturday with Kevin Nisbet’s silky goal putting him on the radar for Scotland.
Hibs were knocked out of the cup yesterday as they lost 2-0 to Celtic despite putting up a good fight. David Gray admitted he had no complaints about the result based on how his side performed.
It was left to St Johnstone to make it through tonight for us to learn our fourth semi-finalist.
And the draw for the penultimate round of the Scottish Cup has now been carried out.
