St Mirren have been busy so far this window and have announced Norwich City youngster Akin Famewo as their third winter signing.
The 21-year-old is a centre-half but can also be deployed at left-back. He leaves Carrow Road for Paisley and will remain in the SPFL until the end of the season.

He has previously had spells with Grimsby and Luton Town. In a club announcement, manager Jim Goodwin says he hopes this deal can be mutually beneficial.
“With the amount of injuries and everything that we have had over the last couple of months we felt it was an area that we needed to strengthen,” said Goodwin. “Akin is a player we have seen a number of times this season playing for Norwich U23s, but he trains with their first team.
“He’s a good player. He’s still got a bit of developing to do but it’s a win-win for everyone. We can give Akin senior football and he continues his development.”
Announcement comes after Irish swoop
This announcement comes after the Buddies announced two signings from Ireland. Conor McCarthy is a centre-half who has joined from Irish League side Cork City. He has signed a two-and-a-half-year deal.

The other man coming in is Jamie McGrath. An attacker who can play on either flank or as a number ten, he made over 100 appearances for Dundalk and the Buddies have snapped him up following this.
Elsewhere, Jack Baird has returned to rivals Morton until the end of the season. It certainly seems as if Goodwin is keen to get his business done early ahead of a return to action against Broxburn Athletic in ten days.
Norwich City starlet Famewo is his next done deal.
