Things continue to go from bad to worse for Hibs.
Bottom of the Premiership heading into yesterday’s home match against St Mirren, they were in big need of a result. And playing at Easter Road should give them hope to do just that.
But they found themselves two goals down inside the first half, missed a penalty to get back into it and then only managed to pull one back in the second.
It leaves David Gray’s side on eight points from 12 league games having won just one of those.
They’re now winless in seven.

Youan clashes with Hibs fans
Clearly the mood is not going to be a good one after the latest result in that miserable run.
And things turned very sour post-match.
Hibs fans haven’t been shy of making their feelings known in recent weeks and boos were heard ringing around the Leith stadium at half-time and full-time yesterday.
Elie Youan is someone who has taken stick more than most, with some of it even spilling over into unacceptable racist abuse.
There is no suggestion there was an element of that yesterday as he clashed with fans.
Video footage and photos taken from Easter Road at full-time show the French forward giving a bit back to disgruntled fans and having to be held back by teammate Rocky Bushiri.
What does the future hold for Youan at Hibs?
The 25-year-old was the subject of a £2million bid from an unnamed French club in the summer and the Hibees took their time to weigh it up before deciding not to cash in at that point.
He has barely featured from the start since then, needed yesterday due to a shortage of fit and available centre forwards.

Youan has clearly been frustrated at the treatment he has had from his own fan base at times, reacting to them on social media on occasions.
He recently posted photos of himself with previous manager Lee Johnson after being left out of a squad and it was taken to be a dig at Gray.
And the Hibs star was told he was making himself a target of the support and had possibly done himself out of a start for yesterday.
