Rangers may be the biggest club in Scotland according to Callumn Morrison – but that doesn’t mean Falkirk can’t spring a surprise on them this Sunday.

The Bairns host Rangers in a glamour League Cup round of 16 tie at the Falkirk Stadium. Lee Miller and David McCracken’s side have been going well in League One this term, currently sitting top after a midweek win over Dumbarton.

But their biggest test awaits them with Rangers coming to town. Key player Morrison will be looked upon to provide attacking impetus from the flanks and he isn’t writing off the possibility of a Bairns upset against the in-form Premiership leaders.

“It’s time to prepare for that, I’m looking forward to it,” said Morrison. “It’ll be a good experience, a good game to play in.

“I’ve been in the right place at the right moment just now. Hopefully I can continue with these goals because they are flying in at the moment.

“We take it one game at a time. We pay attention to our own performances not anyone else. It’s a good group of boys and they have made me feel welcome from the moment I’ve arrived.

“It’s a massive game for me. I think everyone looks forward to these games. The boys will want to take their chance against Rangers, the biggest club in Scotland.

“I’m looking forward to it. I think there will be confidence, we aren’t just going to sit back. It’s a cup game and anything can happen, there’s always an upset and hopefully on Sunday it will be us.”
