Daniel Oyegoke has only been at Hearts for seven months but they look set to make a profit on him already.
The English defender signed from Brentford in June, one of two right-back additions with Gerald Taylor coming in on loan from Saprissa in his Costa Rican homeland.
The latter suffered a nasty cruciate injury just a few games into the season meaning Oyegoke has had to step up, although he has shared the berth with youngster Adam Forrester.
But the 22-year-old has done enough to impress watching Italian sides with both Hellas Verona and Lecce targeting the Hearts man.
Jambos boss Neil Critchley, speaking after Saturday’s win over Kilmarnock, confirmed the club had accepted an offer from a club, at that time unnamed.
The player had been left out of the squad for that one and things have since progressed further.

Hearts’ Oyegoke heads for Hellas Verona
After it was reported that both Italian clubs had an interest, the Edinburgh Evening News are now saying it is Hellas Verona who have agreed the fee.
Oyegoke is due to fly to Italy today with the Serie A side keen to move quickly due to the interest from their rivals in a relegation battle.
The six-figure fee will provide the Tynecastle coffers with a significant profit on the “modest” fee they paid to bring him north last year.
Hearts have Taylor back available, meaning he can compete with Forrester for games at right-back and they can afford to move Oyegoke and make a bit of cash on him.
Hearts transfers latest
He would be the third player Hearts have banked some money on this month, coming after the sales of Kye Rowles to DC United and Liam Boyce to Derry City.
Rowles was replaced by the additions of two centre-halves, Jamie McCart and Michael Steinwender, while midfielder Sander Kartum and striker Elton Kabangu have also been signed.
Hearts want to sign a winger and have targeted both Danny Armstrong of Kilmarnock and Kazakhstan international Islam Chesnokov.
Further outgoings are possible with out-of-favour Jambos duo Barrie McKay and Yutaro Oda prime candidates.
