Hearts accept Oyegoke bid

Daniel Oyegoke looks poised to leave Hearts after Neil Critchley yesterday confirmed they had accepted a bid from an, at the time, unnamed club.

Italian journalist Gianluca di Marzio has since reported both Hellas Verona and Lecce are interested in the player.

“We’ve had a bid from another club so they’re negotiating,” said the head coach. “It’s close to being finalised but not completed so we’ll see in the next 24 to 48 hours.”

On any other ins or outs, he added: “I can’t give any definites. There’s nothing imminent at this moment coming in. We have a big squad at the moment and I can’t guarantee regular football for some of them, so they might leave.”

The Jambos would bank another fee for Oyegoke following the sale of Kye Rowles to DC United for £600,000 and Liam Boyce headed for Derry City for an undisclosed fee. Macaulay Tait has also been loaned to Livingston.

While Hearts have brought in defenders Jamie McCart, Michael Steinwender, midfielder Sander Kartum and striker Elton Kabangu.

Aberdeen Timmy Akindileni interest

Aberdeen’s 17-year-old defender Timmy Akindileni is attracting a lot of interest from both Glasgow clubs and teams down south.

Akindileni’s contract is up at the end of the season and QPR have already had two offers rejected, but Bournemouth and Norwich are both also looking, according to the Daily Record.

St Mirren stand firm on duo

Stephen Robinson insists it would take a “ridiculous” offer to get Mikael Mandron or Toyosi Olusanya away from St Mirren after they combined to down Aberdeen.

He said: “I wouldn’t be surprised if people are looking at them. But what I know from both boys is that they’re fully committed to St Mirren. If someone comes in with a ridiculous bid, the board would have to have a look at it.

“But I’m under absolutely no pressure to sell anybody or accept derisory bids. It would certainly take a very good offer to prise either away. I’m quietly confident both will be here by the end of the window.”

The Buddies have also accepted two offers for Kieran Offord but Robinson has revealed there is also a contract offer on the table from the Buddies and the player must make a decision.

He added: “We’ve agreed two offers from two Irish clubs, and we’ve made an offer ourselves. He’s got a big decision to make. If he leaves it will be with our blessing, because he’s a super boy. There’s no update. We offered him a contract on Thursday and the bids came in on Friday.”

Miller touted to Bologna

Motherwell recently rejected two offers from Udinese for Lennon Miller, the latter worth £2.5million.

But it turns out he has also been touted to Bologna – by their captain and former Aberdeen star Lewis Ferguson.

His dad Derek told BBC Radio Scotland: “I would love to see him go abroad. Whether Udinese is the right club to go to I am not so sure. I know our Lewis had put in a wee word for him at the start of the season because I think Bologna ask Lewis about some of the players in Scottish football so he did give them a little heads up.

“Not that they needed it about Lennon. I think you’d be looking for a little bit more but then there is add-ons as well after so many appearances and if he was to go to another club and move from wherever he goes, you’d be looking for that.”
