Your January 13 transfer window update. Not The Old Firm has news regarding Hibs, Dundee, Aberdeen and Hearts.
Hibs Pleguezuelo link
Reports from down south had suggested that Hibs were interested in defender Julio Pleguezuelo and were set to swoop for the Plymouth centre-back in this window.
The Spaniard has been with the Pilgrims since signing from FC Twente in 2023 but hasn’t been in the picture, with the English Championship side set to sign more defensive players.
But Not the Old Firm understands there is nothing in the reported interest from the Hibees.

Dundee sign one and eye another
Dundee have completed the signing of left-back Imari Samuels from Brighton on a permanent deal.
The 21-year-old has signed a two-and-a-half year deal with Tony Docherty’s side, who have Ziyad Larkeche out injured.
Samuels came through the ranks at Reading before moving to Brighton and had a loan at Fleetwood last season.
The Dee are also looking to land another Mexican with a loan eyed up for Victor ‘Chespi’ Lopez, reports the Daily Record.
The Dens Park aside have a strategic partnership with Monterrey and are in talks with them about their winger, who is currently on loan at Queretaro but could be recalled and sent to Scotland.
Dundee already have Cezar Garza on loan from their Liga MX partners as well as Mexican defender Antonio Portales.
Dorrington to Dons
Aberdeen are believed to be closing in on the loan signing of Alfie Dorrington, the Tottenham centre-back.
The 19-year-old is highly-rated but Spurs want him to go out and get games and Ange Postecoglou believes the Scottish Premiership is a good destination for him.
Talks continue between the two clubs as they try to strike a loan deal.
Aberdeen have already signed Jeppe Okkels and Kristers Tobers and are on the verge of signing Danish right-back Alexander Jensen.
Hearts exit talk
Hearts manager Neil Critchley yesterday addressed exit talk surrounding Lawrence Shankland and the latest on Kye Rowles’ move to DC United.
Asked by Sky Sports about any offers for Shankland, the Hearts boss said: “No, nothing. That surprises me. Obviously January, gossip, transfer rumours.
“But no, we’ve not had anything for Lawrence Shankland.”
On Rowles, he added: “Yes, it is getting closer. It’s not quite finalised yet. Something could possibly happen in the next 48 hours.
“But we’re not there yet and Kye is still our player. He’s been a fantastic player for us and we’ll be sorry to see him go.”
Dundee Utd keeper joins Livingston
Livingston have loaned Dundee United keeper Jack Newman until the end of the season.
Livi announced the signing of the 22-year-old today as he joins their Championship promotion bid after previously having a spell at Inverness.
Kilmarnock agree Ramsay deal
It was reported yesterday that Kilmarnock were set to loan Calvin Ramsay from Liverpool after beating off interest from fellow Premiership sides and down south.
Sky Sports have now updated that the deal has been agreed and finalised.
