Scottish Premiership clubs are always on the lookout for shrewd deals to be had on pre-contracts, given their budgets.
Some deals have already been done with Hibs snapping up Jamie McGrath from Aberdeen and the Irishman will join up on a four-year deal in the summer.
The Dons claimed McGrath was happy to stay with them but they were not prepared to offer the same long-term deal as the Easter Road men.
Meanwhile, Lyall Cameron is on his way out of Dundee in the summer to sign for Rangers.
There are still a huge number of Premiership stars set to become free agents and many of them would be signing as good additions for many clubs, with interest shown already.
Here, Not the Old Firm picks out ten of the best who will be in demand.

Craig Gordon
The 42-year-old goalkeeper will take time to consider his future and whether to continue at Hearts or retire. He spoke on it recently and revealed the factors that will come into his thinking.
Toyosi Olusanya
Olusanya is having the best season of his career at St Mirren as he terrorises defences with pace and power. Not the Old Firm revealed Eintracht Frankfurt have been monitoring Olusanya along with Aberdeen, Hearts and Hibs.
Lawrence Shankland
A disappointing season to date for the Hearts number nine with just four goals. Will still be an attractive proposition for other clubs on a free but Neil Critchley still plans to hold talks with Shankland.
Allan Campbell
Industrious midfielder signed for Dundee United in January but only on a short-term deal until the end of the season. That opens the door for other clubs to speak to him about a summer move and Aberdeen, Hearts and Hibs have all previously been linked.
Danny Armstrong
Kilmarnock boss Derek McInnes was honest and admitted the winger wouldn’t be signing a new deal and would be moving on. Armstrong has held talks with Hearts and had previous interest from Bolton.
Martin Boyle
Boyle’s contract is up in the summer but Hibs do have an option to extend, but presumably both parties would have to be happy before it is triggered. He has previously intimated a desire to play in Australia at some point in his career.
Jack MacKenzie
Aberdeen’s left-back had a brilliant start to the season before struggling with injury. Preston, Sheffield United and Stoke from the English Championship have been credited with an interest.
Josh Mulligan
Dundee’s right wing-back has been having a top season and was described as an “athletic monster.” Another player attracting interest from the English Championship.
Bobby Wales
Talented young forward has been showing his ability with some quality well-taken goals. Once again, English clubs are circling ahead of a possible free transfer exit from Kilmarnock.
