Like most clubs, Hibs will be looking to get some signings in during the January transfer window.
But it’s someone already in the building at Easter Road who may have the biggest impact.
Not the Old Firm revealed that a new goalkeeper was top of Hibs’ wanted list for January, as well as a striker and a number 10 if possible.
There have since been links to Zander Clark from rivals Hearts on a pre-contract as well as Rotherham’s Cameron Dawson for a winter window deal.
The Hibees may even get some deals done as early as today, it is believed, and manager David Gray had laid out the potential timeline.
Gray is equally as excited about the return of a player he has been without for some time.

Kieron Bowie ‘like a new signing’ for Hibs
Hibs signed exciting young Scottish forward Kieron Bowie from Fulham in the summer, after a successful loan at Northampton.
But he only managed three Premiership appearances, scoring one goal, before suffering a hamstring injury.
That means Gray has been robbed of his new signing for four months, but Bowie is nearing a comeback.
And the manager says it will be as good as a new signing.
“Absolutely, it will be,” Gray admitted.
“When he joined us he’d had a previous injury, so we were managing him carefully and unfortunately that didn’t go the way we’d have liked.
“So we’ve still not seen a fully-fit Kieron Bowie yet. He was probably getting to the point where you would have started to see that just before he broke down.
“But credit to him for keeping his head down and working hard. He’ll come back even stronger, because that’s the type of boy he is.
“That then becomes like another addition, someone we’ve not had. If we can get him fully fit and firing — which we will — he’ll be a real asset to the club. Kieron’s back on the grass every day, back involved in training sessions, integrating slowly.”
Hibs have to be patient with Bowie
Gray added: “The temptation with someone who’s been out for a long time is to try and get him back in the team, but that needs to be done as safely as possible.
“He’s desperate to play because that’s the type of boy he is. He does absolutely everything right, he’s a really good professional and he’s desperate to get back as quick as he can.”
