Hibs missed another chance to kickstart their season on Saturday.
The Hibees lost 4-1 to Dundee after being reduced ten men while leading 1-0 through Nicky Cadden’s early opener.
Jordan Obita was the sinner who was sent off but his teammates didn’t react well to going a man down and the Dee took advantage.
It means Hibs are eight games without a win and still bottom of the Premiership, a point behind rivals Hearts with a game in hand.
David Gray’s position as manager will come into question but there is also a debate to be had around whether the issues at the club run deeper than the head coach position.

Hibs fans demand ‘sack the board’
The Hibs board, including director Ian Gordon, CEO Ben Kensell and sporting director Malky Mackay, have also been getting it in the neck.
And fans have made their stance clear on those in the boardroom.
Ultras group Block Seven have taken to social media to reveal the message they have spray painted on a wall tight outside Easter Road.
It reads ‘Sack the board’ and after uploading a video clip, the group captioned the post ‘Enough is enough’.
It is not the first time concerns have been raised about the Hibs hierarchy.
Former striker Tam McManus told Kensell and Mackay they were under just as much pressure as Gray.
And Gordon Strachan discussed conflict between the Hibs board and minority investors the Black Knights after Bill Foley expressed disappointment at being ‘ignored’.
Gray takes Hibs responsibility
Despite all of that, David Gray refuses to abdicate responsibility and is taking it upon his shoulders.
Admitting there is an element out of his control in terms of the individual mistakes continually made by players, the manager insists he must take his own share of the blame.
Speaking after the Dundee defeat, the 36-year-old said: “No, I think there’s always coaching points within it, 100%. It’s not always directly my fault, so to speak, but it’s definitely my responsibility.
“So I need to rectify it as quick as I can. You look at the goals we’ve conceded, whether we had 10 or 11 players on the pitch, they’re avoidable in their moments.

“I think that’s probably the bit at the moment that’s harder for me. When I’m looking at it going, how can we rectify it?
“We show the players we do everything we can to make sure that in the situations we need to do better. But there’s no doubt about it, the Red Cards are a massive turning point in the game.
“They got a massive lift from the momentum we had because of how we started. It really turned the game, to be honest.”
But Hibs hero Marvin Bartley was adamant the players need to stand up and be counted amid a furious rant about their attitudes.
