Big clubs on the world stage are now regularly looking at Scottish talent.
The success of the likes of Andy Robertson and Liverpool, Kieran Tierney initially at Arsenal and John McGinn at Aston Villa is showing that we do have players that can cut it in the Premier League.
On top of that we’ve got Lewis Ferguson, Billy Gilmour and Scott McTominay tearing it up in Serie A after Aaron Hickey did the same.
Lennon Miller is the next Premiership star being talked about and looks like he could go onto emulate those names with a big career at a good level.
Last week it was reported Southampton were scouting Motherwell’s 18-year-old talent and clubs like Celtic, Rangers and Crystal Palace have also been linked.

Liverpool looking at Motherwell starlet Miller
Saints are not the only ones taking a close look, it would seem.
The Daily Mail is now claiming Liverpool are interested having used the Scottish market in recent years for Robertson and Calvin Ramsay.
Both Glasgow clubs are mentioned in the report as considering a swoop.
It was believed any club wanting to sign Miller would have to cough up what would be a record fee received for the Steelmen, which currently stands at £3million for David Turnbull.
However, this newest reporting states it would have to be more than that, £4m to be precise, to tempt them into selling their latest talent.
Miller is contracted with Motherwell until the summer of 2026.
He is currently with the Scotland under-19s side after fans were left baffled by Steve Clarke’s explanation for leaving him out of the main squad.
Motherwell want to keep hold of Miller
Clearly, a club like Motherwell would do business if they receive an offer they can’t refuse. It’s the same for pretty much all Scottish clubs.
But they insist they would prefer to keep hold of their star man for now and help him continue in his development.
Miller captained the side in their recent Premier Sports Cup semi-final defeat and is a vital part of the way Stuart Kettlewell’s side play.
He has been playing further forward and adding goals to his game and is now a leader as well as being a shining light.
New Fir Park chairman Kyrk Macmillan said: “Obviously, he’s now captain of the club over the last couple of matches, did it at Hampden as well for the semi-final [Premier Sports Cup].
“I think, ultimately, it’s about Lennon’s growth journey and we want him to stay at Motherwell as long as possible. It’s great watching him every Saturday. He gets supporters excited and people are really excited to engage with him and his journey in football.
“There may come a time where Lennon decides ‘I want to try something new in another environment’.
“But, ultimately, we want to make his time at Motherwell as successful as it can be.
“That is who we are as a football club and that will be the same for Lennon as it will be, hopefully, for other players in the future as well.”
