Dundee United weren’t exactly the busiest team in the Premiership across the January transfer window.
Tannadice boss Jim Goodwin brought in three new faces to bolster his team as they aim to finish third in the Premiership table come May.
| Position | Team | Played MP | Won W | Drawn D | Lost L | For GF | Against GA | Diff GD | Points Pts |
| 2 | 25 | 16 | 5 | 4 | 51 | 19 | 32 | 53 | |
| 3 | 25 | 10 | 7 | 8 | 32 | 28 | 4 | 37 | |
| 4 | 25 | 10 | 5 | 10 | 32 | 38 | -6 | 35 |
Ruari Paton arrived on loan from Port Vale, while former Manchester City kid Lewis Fiorini also joined until the end of the season from Stockport County.
Allan Campbell was Dundee United’s final addition of the window, but the best piece of business by far centred around striker Sam Dalby.
Wrexham decided not to recall Dalby from his United loan and that was a massive relief for Goodwin given the 25-year-old is the current Premiership top scorer.
The window closes on February 3, but it appears United’s business hasn’t quite finished yet.

Dundee United’s Richard Odada linked with OFK Beograd
That’s because Richard Odada is in talks over a loan exit to Serbian outfit OFK Beograd, according to The Courier.
The report does stress, however, that Odada is also being targeted by other clubs, though it appears OFK Beograd are the frontrunners for his signature.
The Serbian transfer window does not close until the evening of Friday, February 14 so there is still time for clubs to thrash out a deal.
Kenyan defensive midfielder Odada joined Dundee United in the summer from Philadelphia Union but has struggled for regular game time.
He hasn’t adapted well to the physical demands of the Premiership and has played just 13 times for the Tangerines so far.

Jim Goodwin confirms Odada interest
Odada is contracted with Dundee United until 2026 but Goodwin admits he still sees a future for the 24-year-old at Tannadice.
The Irishman just wants Odada to get some game time elsewhere and hopes he returns to United in the summer better equipped.
Confirming interest in Odada, Goodwin said: “We have had a bit of interest in Richard from Europe. It needs to be right for everyone – he needs to want to do it, and the rest needs to balance out.
“He’s been training and doing well. He’s a player we still have high hopes for. In terms of his profile, he ticks a lot of the boxes for a midfielder in the modern-day game. He has good energy and the physical aspects you need.
“He’s just struggled to get up to the speed of the game here, so far. That’s why I feel a loan would be good for him.
“I wanted him to go, play games and come back ready to kick-start things in the summer. But if he doesn’t go, it’s not an issue. If he stays, we have a good player on our hands.”
