Hearts have already done some January transfer business and are expected to have more ins and outs.
First, striker Elton Kabangu signed from Union Saint-Gilloise on a loan deal until the end of the season, with the option to make it permanent, as the Jambos look to add pace to their attack.
Defender Jamie McCart was also signed from Rotherham in a bargain £70,000 deal as he was coming to the end of his deal at the Millers.
He’s expected to be a straight replacement for DC United-bound Kye Rowles after Not the Old Firm exclusively revealed the move to the MLS was on the cards for £600k.
Manager Neil Critchley wants to make more additions to his squad and is in the market for a winger as well as another centre half and potentially a midfield player.
He was quizzed directly on Kilmarnock’s Danny Armstrong after links with Hearts.
Liam Boyce is now having a Derry City medical as the veteran Northern Irish striker looks set to head home.
It was expected some young players would go out on loan to get experience and attacking midfielder Callum Sandilands has already joined Montrose.
Another could soon be joining him in being loaned out by Hearts.

Macaulay Tait poised for Hearts loan exit
Macaulay Tait broke into the Hearts first-team last season under previous boss Steven Naismith, who knew him well having managed him in the B team.
He mostly made sub appearances but looked promising, tidy on the ball in the middle of the pitch with defensive capabilities also.
His game time has been limited this season and he has played just once under Critchley, a start against Petrocub in the Conference League.
A loan be beneficial and it would appear that is going to come for the 19-year-old.
Hearts Standard is reporting the club are ready to sanction a temporary move away for the rest of the season with a number of Championship clubs interested.
Hearts have a number of options in central midfield with Beni Baningime, Cammy Devlin, Jorge Grant and Malachi Boateng all featuring regularly and Calem Nieuwengof coming back from injury.
Musa Drammeh transfer interest
We exclusively revealed earlier that Hearts winger Musa Drammeh is being tracked by English Championship clubs.
The Spaniard had interest from Sunderland before coming to Edinburgh and there are now a number of clubs monitoring him, including Cardiff.
Drammeh has the pace and power for the English game and that could be what they see in him despite only recently breaking into the Jambos team.
