Aberdeen and Hearts must both put aside their endeavours in the transfer market aside with an important Premiership match this afternoon.
Three points, which would be precious for either side, are at stake at Pittodrie with both sitting at opposite ends of the table.
However, it’s 11th-placed Hearts who are in the better recent form as Neil Critchley looks to move them to safety.
The Dons are, amazingly, winless in ten after the wheels came off following their unbeaten start to the season that had pundits speculating about an unlikely title charge.
Having won back-to-back league games for the first time this season, the Jambos are looking to make it four unbeaten since derby defeat to Hibs.
Both sides have announced two signings apiece this month and there could be debuts for Jeppe Okkels and Kristers Tobers in home colours and Elton Kabangu in away.
Hearts have also signed Jamie McCart but he has already appeared as a sub against Dundee United.
Both are expected to add plenty more, with Jimmy Thelin admitting the Dons’ window is a ‘never-ending story‘, but the focus will all be on the three points for 90 minutes this afternoon.
The teams are in and are as follows.
