Hibs boss David Gray has hinted at extending the contract of right-back Lewis Miller.
The Easter Road outfit are navigating their way through the January transfer window at the moment and manager Gray has promised ins and outs.
Hibs are yet to sign anyone yet but Not The Old Firm understands a new goalkeeper, attacking midfielder and striker are on the club’s wishlist.
Amid the clamour to add new faces to the first-team squad, discussions are being had in the background over handing out new contracts before the summer.

Gray on potential Lewis Miller Hibs contract talks
A whopping 10 players are set to see their deals with Hibs expire come the end of the season – and that doesn’t include the three loanees bound to return to their parent clubs.
Rocky Bushiri is one who expects contract talks to commence soon, with Gray also revealing that Miller is another who could be handed an extension.
Speaking to the press on Tuesday, Gray says talks are ongoing in the background and the option to tie Miller down on a new deal is being looked at.
Gray said: “Lewis is one of many players that are out of contract and there’s conversations being had all the time.
“Especially now, because obviously in the last six months of contracts, they can speak to other clubs and see what they want to do. And players want that clarity on the future.
“So there is conversations going on all the time and Lewis is one of, I think it might be 15 players, between 10 and 15 players that are out of contract at the end of the season.
“At this moment in time, the full focus is on trying to get in the starting XI and trying to play to the best of their ability. But he is one that we’ve got an option on and there’s conversations going on all the time.”
Miller is a versatile option for Hibs
Miller is one of the more athletic and powerful players in the Hibs squad and that plays a massive part in his aggressive game.
Gray changed his formation at Hibs in November from a 4-2-3-1 to a 3-4-1-2 shape and it has seen Miller play at both wing-back and centre-back.

Miller is more natural at wing-back but with the return of Chris Cadden, the Aussie international has been deployed more at right centre-back of late.
He played there against Kilmarnock, St Johnstone and Rangers – games which saw Hibs remain unbeaten – and it has shown Miller can be versatile.
That will come into Gray’s thinking when exploring the option to extend his contract. He’s still only 24 and Gray thinks there is still room for him to get even better.
The manager said: “His actual physical attributes are there for everybody to see. A proper modern-day full-back, centre-back, wing-back.
“Flexibility within his game, the way he can play. He can play three positions, no problem. Just his size, his athleticism. His ability to run forward. That’s something that’s hard to play against.
“I can only imagine playing against that myself, of being a wing-back and someone like Lewis Miller running and jumping over the top of you and being fit enough to take you both ways for 90 minutes. That’s what he’s definitely got in his locker.
“And then the things he needs to improve on. Clearly everyone needs to improve all the time. That can be decision-making on the ball or just choice of passes at times.
“And then obviously, everybody can always improve with the ball and try to improve technically because that’s something that everyone will always try to do with every player.”
