Lennon Miller will move on from Motherwell at some point.
Everyone, the Steelmen included, is surely on the same page with that. The 18-year-old is already a stand-out in the Well team and recently captained them against Rangers at Hampden.
His form has been such that Motherwell and Scotland fans were left baffled by Steve Clarke’s decision to leave him out of the full national squad, and by his subsequent explanation.
And iconic commentator Martin Tyler recently sung the praises of Miller, who had caught his eye playing against Celtic, and urged others to sit up and take notice.

Motherwell in no rush to sell Miller
Motherwell will know their place in the food chain and that when bigger clubs come calling it is hard to hang on to key men.
It was the same when Celtic were in for David Turnbull and Everton for James McFadden all those years ago, and others at different times too.
But chief executive Brian Caldwell insists the Fir Park club will only deal on terms that are suitable to them.
He insists they are in no rush to sell and will only do so at a price they deem fair.
Caldwell said: “We are all realistic to realise there will come a time when Lennon will move on. He is an extremely talented player who we all see every week.
“But that time will only come when the deal is right for the club and the player. We have a really good relationship with his agent. We spoke only last week.
“We’re not in a rush to sell Lennon, we don’t need to sell him.
“But it’s not all about us, it’s about Lennon too. He is playing games every week which is the most important thing for his development and if he continues to develop the way he is we understand for his own development he’d probably need to go to a higher level.
“We need to bide our time and make sure when that time comes it’s the right deal for the club and the player.”
Liverpool and Southampton Miller interest
We told this week how Liverpool were the latest club to be linked with a swoop to sign Lennon Miller from Motherwell.
Prior to that, Southampton had been named as another Premier League side who had been scouting the talented teen.
Crystal Palace were strongly linked before that, while there has been a suggestion he could go to Italy with Bologna also mentioned.
It was said Motherwell would be looking for a record transfer fee in order to sell, and that currently stands at the £3million that took Turnbull to Celtic.
The Daily Mail reported the Steelmen would be holding out for £4m on this occasion.
