McGarry nears Aberdeen exit
James McGarry looks set to move on from Aberdeen after a year-and-a-half in the Granite City after his move from Central Coast Mariners.
The New Zealander is wanted by Greek top flight side Kallithea who have submitted a bid, and the Dons are believed to willing to sanction his exit.
Meanwhile, Aberdeen are hoping to hijack Rangers’ attempts to sign Lyall Cameron from Dundee by persuading him he his better served moving to them.

Hearts Oyegoke latest
A second Premiership defender is on the move after Hearts accepted an offer for Daniel Oyegoke.
Hellas Verona are the club in question, with Serie A rivals Lecce also interested, and the right-back was due to fly to Italy today.
Meanwhile, Jorge Grant has revealed there has still been no talks with Hearts with his contract up in the summer.
He said: “I’ve had no discussions with the club about my situation. I’ll always concentrate on my football and try and help the team as much as possible.
“If the club want to talk about it, I’m always open to talk about it. I’ve played in different positions in those six games so it’s nice to be getting minutes.”
Hibs look to get Manneh in
Hibs look like they are on the verge of making their first January acquisition in the shape of Gambian midfielder Alasanah Manneh.
Manneh is out of contract at Danish side OB in the summer but the Hibees have made their move this month, and it has been reported he has already said his goodbyes.
Dunfermline want Essel
Dunfermline are looking to sign Aaron Essel on loan from St Johnstone, reports the Daily Record.
The Ghanian, who can play in defence or midfield, was signed by Craig Levein but hasn’t been getting as much of a game since Simo Valakari came in.
New Pars boss Michael Tidser is looking to strengthen in January.
We told yesterday how Russian side Arsenal Tula were interested in St Johnstone’s Andre Raymond and had made an approach.
Mandron sings Olusanya’s praises
Mikael Mandron helped Toyosi Olusanya rip Aberdeen apart at the weekend amid reported interested in both St Mirren strikers. And he insists the sky is the limit for his teammate.
Mandron said: “I don’t think he has any ceiling, I don’t want to put any limits on him. He’s shown this season he can score goals at any time and any type.
“With his quality, pace, power and finishing, that will work at any level, so I don’t think he has a ceiling.
“Yeah hopefully he can stay because he’s so important for us. He’s scored so many goals and what he brings to the team is absolutely amazing. The gaffer said it would take a big offer but if I was any club I’d definitely pay – but we want him to stay.
“He is so fast but I don’t think he has run to his fastest pace yet, he always seems to have an extra gear. He’s going to give problems to any defender, I don’t think anyone can actually deal with him.
“Toyosi and I, up front, we work well together. He’s so fast and strong, and is always going to run in behind. He’s always going to get on the end of balls that are maybe not always the best but he manages to make them a good ball.
“More often than not I’m the one who drops or tries to get flick-ons, so we work well together. He did amazing for his first goal and my first goal as well.”
