Motherwell stood firm on Lennon Miller in January but it is becoming clear he won’t be their player for much longer.
The Well rejected offers from Udinese for their talented teen in January, the Serie A side coming in with a bid of £2.5million the second time round.
Celtic were reported to be seriously interested along with Belgians Union Saint-Gilloise, while Premier League giants Manchester United, Man City, Arsenal and Liverpool have all scouted the 18-year-old too.
Motherwell were holding out for £4m, which would comfortably eclipse their current record sale which currently stands at £3m from when David Turnbull left for Celtic.
Miller stayed put by the closure of the winter window but there will continue to be interest in his services ahead of the summer.

Brighton and Union Saint-Gilloise eye Miller
One of those clubs taking a look in January, USG, are still keen on revisiting things in January, according to the Scottish Sun.
And that could set him up for a massive move to the Premier League with Brighton in the future.
Seagulls owner Tony Bloom is also a minority shareholder and investor in the Belgian side, who use his Jamestown Analytics firm in their recruitment in the same way that Hearts do.
It’s claimed the Brighton see Miller as a brilliant prospect but are not quite sure about his readiness for the Premier League yet. That’s what is opening the door for Union Saint Gilloise to take him now and develop him for their parent club.
And deal which could bank Motherwell £5m in the summer is reportedly being worked on.
Miller in world’s top seven
Miller is apparently rated in the top seven across the world at his age using data, which would explain interest from clubs using Jamestown Analytics.
That’s according to Tam Cowan, who said on Off the Ball: “I don’t think for a minute he’s going to remain in Scotland, but then that other wee nugget that came out this week that, statistically, they’ve got all the data and the sport science and all that, guys on their laptops at every ground.
“He’s apparently in the top seven in the world of players in his age in that position, when you throw all the stats into the machine.”
