Aberdeen step up transfer plans
Aberdeen last night made Jeppe Okkels their first signing of the window, bringing in the wide man on loan with Preston with a view to the deal becoming permanent.
They’re pressing on with more attempts at bringing in players too and have made an offer for Alexander Jensen, a right-back currently at Swedish side Brommapojkarna.
Meanwhile, the Dons are closing in on the signing of Latvia captain and centre half Kristers Tobers, after we exclusively revealed their interest.
Another Jensen, Richard, is out on loan at Velji but there is no clause for Aberdeen to recall him to ease their injury worries, claims the Daily Record.

Hibs were today linked with a move for ex-Aberdeen goalie Kelle Roos and it was claimed they had approached Triestina.
But Not the Firm learned that, while Roos does feature on a list of potential targets, no such approach has been made by Hibs.
Hearts Kabangu boost
Hearts have been handed a boost today with the news Elton Kabangu has been granted a work permit to play for them following his loan from Union Saint-Gilloise.
The pacey striker will go into the squad to face Aberdeen this weekend.
