Hearts are still in the market to sign a winger with just hours remaining before the January transfer window closes tonight.
Neil Critchley is after a wide man and the Jambos have been linked with both Islam Chesnokov and Kilmarnock’s Danny Armstrong in recent weeks.
Whether they are able to get one of those options remains to be seen, but what we do know is that Harry Milne is closing in on a move to Tynecastle from Partick Thistle.
The left-back will provide cover for James Penrice and is currently undergoing a medical ahead of a deadline day switch.
But it’s not just all about incomings because Hearts may yet sell one of their central midfielders to an EFL Championship club tonight.

Plymouth submit bid for Malachi Boateng
Plymouth Argyle are said to be interested in signing Hearts midfielder Malachi Boateng before the deadline.
Boateng is contracted at Hearts until the summer of 2027 after signing from Crystal Palace last summer for an undisclosed fee.
The Englishman has impressed this season for the Jambos and so far has made 28 appearances for the Gorgie club.
His minutes, however, have been more limited in recent weeks and now it is being reported that he could be on the move out of Edinburgh after just six months.
Plymouth Live are claiming that Plymouth Argyle – who are bottom of the EFL Championship – are keen on Boateng’s services.
The report states that they want to sign the 22-year-old Londoner on a permanent deal to add to their midfield options for the rest of the campaign and beyond.
The Edinburgh Evening News have their own information, stating that Plymouth have indeed lodged a formal offer to Hearts for Boateng.
Plymouth are coached by Miron Muslic, the former Cercle Brugge boss who came up against Hearts in the Europa Conference League earlier this season.

Hearts have had a busy January
Boateng could be the fourth permanent Hearts exit this window, with Liam Boyce the first to depart for Derry City.
Kye Rowles soon followed as he sealed a £600k switch to DC United, before right-back Daniel Oyegoke made a surprise move to Hellas Verona.
As far as incomings are concerned, Elton Kabangu was the first addition from Union Saint-Gilloise as Jamie McCart from Rotherham came afterwards.
Michael Steinwender took the leap from IFK Varnamo before he was joined soon after by SK Brann’s Sander Kartum – both permanent transfers.
