The transfer window has now closed for another few months and Scottish Premiership teams will have to wait until the summer to add to their squad any further.
Plenty of deals did get done and St Johnstone were the most active in terms of incomings with seven signings, while selling Jack Sanders to MK Dons for £150,000 was one of five departures.
Aberdeen and Hearts were busy too with six and five in respectively, the former signing defender Mats Knoester and striker Oday Dabbagh on deadline day and Harry Milne joining the latter from Partick Thistle.
But there were also plenty of deals that didn’t get done and clubs and players will now have to wait until the summer to try again.

Lennon Miller Motherwell exit
Lennon Miller’s injury didn’t put teams off from trying to sign him in January and Udinese had earlier failed with a £2.5million bid, their second offer.
Celtic looked to join the race late in the window with the Scottish Sun reporting an offer had been knocked back earlier in the window.
But Motherwell’s stance became clear yesterday with the Steelmen looking to hold onto Miller until the summer.
The Fir Park club want a record fee, eclipsing the £3m Celtic paid for David Turnbull, when they do eventually part ways.
Hibs reject Rocky Bushiri bid
Hibs defender Rocky Bushiri was a wanted man on deadline day with his contract up in the summer.
But the Hibees rejected the chance to cash in for six figures as they didn’t feel they could get a replacement up to the same standard on deadline day.
The offer was said to come from a “top Belgian side” but he also has interest from the Middle East.
Aberdeen wanted second striker
Aberdeen got the striker they wanted on deadline day as Oday Dabbagh signed for the Dons, and was branded ‘exceptional’ by Jimmy Thelin.
But they weren’t finished there as it emerged late on the Pittodrie men were pushing for a loan deal for PSV’s Jesper Uneken.
However, the clock was ticking and that was one that didn’t get done.
McKay and Oda still at Hearts who don’t land winger
It was no secret that Hearts headed into the window wanting to sign a winger. They held talks with Islam Chesnokov and Kilmarnock’s Danny Armstrong but neither came to fruition.
The lack of a wide man coming in could have something to do with the fact Barrie McKay and Yutaro Oda remain at Tynecastle.
The pair are way out of the first-team picture and manager Neil Critchley admitted they could move on, but nothing materialised.
Hearts did sign attacking midfielder Sander Kartum in the window and he could operate in the wide areas of Critchley’s 4-4-2 system.
St Mirren miss on Celtic striker
St Mirren brought in ex-Kilmarnock loanee Ryan Alebiosu yesterday to provide competition for Elvis Bwomono. He’s added to Declan John, Owen Oseni and Zach Hemming as their January additions.
But Stephen Robinson looked to bring in another attacker on deadline day, failing in his attempts to land Celtic striker Johnny Kenny on loan.
Kenny banged in goals for Shamrock Rovers but was recalled by the Hoops in January. With Kyogo being soled, they’ve opted to keep the Irishman around as another option, according to the Scottish Sun.
Adam Montgomery to St Johnstone
Another Celtic man who missed out on a loan to a Premiership side was Adam Montgomery.
St Johnstone wanted to take the left-sided player back after his previous stint with them in 2022/23, but it seems nothing could be done.
And while loans are still permitted for lower league sides beyond the window, the same doesn’t apply to Premiership teams.
Lyall Cameron stays at Dundee (for now)
Lyall Cameron was a man in demand with Aberdeen and Rangers interested, and it was the latter who announced him on a pre-contract agreement yesterday.
However, no agreement could be reached for an immediate transfer and he will stay at Dundee for the rest of the season.
